Endangered Spoonbill in the Florida Everglades. My name is Aliya Zarrouk and I am 11 years old. This was my first watercolor painting that I did at my art camp/school. I tried to based this off of the real picture that my instructor showed me. I never really listened to my instructor showing the rest of the class what to do, instead I copied of my own photograph of the spoonbill using basic shapes along the way. This was made with simple watercolor paint supplied at the school. I have my heart out to animals, and really took my time with this piece. I prefer doing furry wildlife creatures including wolfs, foxes, wild cats and dogs, and sometimes bears. I dislike using paint and I think that watercolor pencils work best for me. I hope you enjoy the piece of art that took over 3 days to complete.
