Orangutan by Emma Hardy. Made from paper. Emma Hardy is a practicing artist employing mixed medium from bronze to paper. She has received numerous grants and commissions and has been concentrating on a paper sculpture technique she’s developed. Emma has shown at numerous locations including Denver Int’l Airport, Walker Fine Art, and in 2011 she was part of an international 3D paper show at the Shelburne Museum in Vermont.
Emma was born in Lincolnshire, England and earned a BA in Sculpture at the Wimbledon School of Art in London. Emma travelled extensively before marrying and settling in the USA where she has resided for the past 20 years. Her studio is located in Jamestown - just outside of Boulder, where she currently lives with her husband and two boys.
