Gorilla in Space by Fabiola Moro. All Rights Reserved. In this painting I used the media of watercolor and acrylic. For the details I used charcoal and some pastels. The whole idea of this painting was for the endangered animal, mountain gorilla, to be somewhere exotic. I painted him in space, with a galaxy in the background and some trees behind him. I painted him with a galaxy in the background because when anyone has the thought of a gorilla, you see a jungle perspective. I intended to put something different. So I used my creativity and added the intention of the animal being endangered. Seeing the gorilla from the galaxy, he wouldn’t be able to survive, there is no supplies given to survive in space. The same way on earth, if we keep going how we are, we might lose the existence of the mountain gorilla. I just put it in that perspective because it made sense to me as a twelve-year-old girl and young artist.
