Glow of Hope. Acrylic and Spray Paint on newspaper by Jarrett Davis. All Rights Reserved. In order to express my thoughts about the cheetah, I created a painting that would highlight the beauty of this creature. The background is painted black to represent the threat that makes this animal endangered while the glow around it represent hope.
My artwork is heavily influenced by music and today's culture. Historical figures and people who will stop at nothing to achieve their dreams are also inspirations for my artwork. Using graphic design skills, I am able to simplify my art so it displays a mixture of my background as an artist and designer. From comic books to graffiti art, these elements are somewhere to be found in my artwork. Having the courage to create just what I am feeling makes my work stand out. No matter what people may take away after viewing my work, they will know I'm an artist.
