Endangered Forest by Terri Lloyd. All Rights Reserved. The Endangered Forest sculpture is about the depletion of forests around the world. It is made with extruded clay tubes and fired using an almost extinct technique called Obvara, originating in Europe around the 16th century. To me it evokes an absolute desolate landscape lacking any life, which if the current reduction of forests continues, could lead to desolation of so many species, habitats and future opportunities for humanity.
