Baboon Tree Carving, New Mexico. Photograph by Kat O'Neill. All Rights Reserved.
Found in the woods where a group of birch trees overlooked the ravine. Nothing was named but a baboon face is what I saw.
I worked on campaigns for Wildaid for years but now that I live in East Hampton I walk the beach with my nine year old son picking up plastic bags, deflated balloons and other garbage so the sea turtles won't mistake the debris for jellyfish. Often we fill up 3 giant Hefty bags. Impressive and sad at the same time.
