Bengal Tiger. Recycled Queen Palm frond boot by Joanne Baker-Oakes. All Rights Reserved. This Bengal Tiger was cut from a Queen Palm frond boot. I painted my piece with acrylic paint and sealed the finished piece with clear coat for protection. I painted free hand and no stencil or tracing is ever used. This is an original.
We need to protect our forest habitats in order to save tigers. These beautiful creatures are being hunted and skinned, trapped and poached. This needs to stop. I hope my piece shows just a small portion of the intricate beauty of a Bengal Tiger. My art is painted on a recycled Queen Palm frond boot.
