ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2022 Submission - Photography Category
A timely capture as this heron snares its dinner Melbourne FL. While the lush forest and otherwise landscape in the Western North Carolina mountains can be beautiful it belies the fact that there are bear wild turkey and deer hunting seasons including unfortunately poachers and those who break the law by exceeding their limits thus a threat to the wildlife animal population. As well occasional fires from reckless campers and drought from time to time are also a danger to smaller animals bees and insects compromising the balance of nature. In addition mother nature's flash flooding collapsing roads eroding hills and mountainsides and creating large sink holes in the past and as recently as the past year have impacted the aforementioned animal and insect life deleteriously including the area's topography. Textured brown wood designer frame Plexiglas.
