ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2021 Submission
Alaska is also another natural wonder in our world. Brown bears (called Grizzlies inland) gather in June along the coast of Cook Inlet from their mountain hibernation to eat protein rich sedge grass, mate, and prepare to move into the streams for the salmon migration. Bears will increase three times their weight by the end of the summer. Spending four days at a Bear Camp and being (safely) within 20 feet of these amazing creatures and their cubs were an experience of a lifetime.
