ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2020 Submission
This chimp is the smallest and one of the youngest females in the group I was a caregiver for. She uses her small size to her advantage often getting unnecessarily upset over small things and getting the higher ranking chimps to take pity on her and back her up. For a while, she was allowed to eat with the highest-ranking females in her group. She also enjoys starting things with the other younger chimps in her group sometimes running up and hitting them or pestering them because she knows she'll get away with it. But she also has many close friendships. Once when one of her closest friends refused to come inside from the outdoor area overnight she stayed with her and kept her company until the next morning.
