ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission
"Earth first artist Bebe explores the compelling contrasts between form, essence and abstraction. I thrive on experimenting with different and unconventional materials. To me failure is not in my vocabulary, it only leads to a new learning experience that may lead to something extraordinary.
This piece speaks to the five animal kingdoms and how the planet is losing over ten thousand species each year due to climate change. The five vessels are made of shards of ostrich eggs. The egg is symbolic of all living things and in this case the broken shards represent the extent species within each of the five kingdoms."
