ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission This is a small herd of Grevy's Zebra. The Grevy's are a striking large member of the zebra family. Overhunting and loss of territory have unfortunately drove Grevy's zebra numbers done into an endangered status. The symbol up in the far right corner denotes this sad reality. In some of my endangered species paintings I will use a simplified abstracted group of shapes representing the animal's Endangered status. This painting was done using sketches and photos I gathered at the Lewa Conservancy in Kenya. Upon the sale of this paining part of the proceeds will go back to Lewa Conservancy 's endangered species program.
