ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission
Paradise Harbor also known as Paradise Bay is a wide embayment behind Lemaire and Bryde Islands in Antarctica. The pristine wilderness surrounded by glaciers and icebergs is breathtaking to witness.
I utilize photography in an attempt to capture the beauty that I see in the world. Whether I'm witnessing a wry smile on a mountain gorilla's face as it glances around its troop in Uganda, the character of a charismatic Amsterdam canal, or the sun breaking the shell of a new day over the wetlands near my home, my goal is to share that beauty with others through photography.
In the end, I hope my photographs evoke a feeling of connection with viewers and the subject, and potentially spark an appreciation that leads to them developing their own passion for the subject.
