ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.
I have lived in Palm Beach County since the 1950s where I have worked in several art-related occupations, including Art Director for WPEC-TV channel 12, graphic artist for the Palm Beach Post, and most recently as an art instructor at the School District of Palm Beach County for 14 years. My style of art is detailed realism. For many years I have worked in graphite to create portraits and illustrations for which I have won several national awards. Currently, my art can be seen in various art shows around South Florida. I also create artwork in colored pencil. Although my work can be time-consuming, I painstakingly work for accuracy and each of my renderings can take more than 60 hours to create. My artwork is on display at The HeART of Delray Gallery in Delray Beach, FL and can be viewed on my website, www.eastonartgalleries.com.
