ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.
More than forty years ago in a bomb-shelter-turned-darkroom in her front yard, this artist began a photographic journey that has become a lifelong passion. Today the artist has transitioned from silver-halide crystals to megapixels and continues to enjoy the challenge of capturing a moment in time. In both vibrant color and classic black and white, the portraits and landscapes portray the beauty and details of daily life and the human condition in communities around the globe. This beekeeper shows the rural beauty and challenge of time spent on this important part of the pollination process.
