Wildebeest against blue sky and golden plains.
My trip to Kenya was a constant and overwhelming visual feast. I was moved to reverence over and over again by the beauty of the earth and her creatures, human and not. Awed by their relationship to the space, while anxiously aware of their vulnerability in a changing landscape, I contemplated often how the newly erected fences would impact migration and the connections between beasts, humans, and the land.

Osprey in air with fish. I am in wonder of the majesty of birds in flight. I recently moved to this area where osprey were brought back from near extinction. My hope is that we are able to help more animals to achieve the success of the regal osprey.

Clouded Leopards' forest habitat and their prey are disappearing due to the development of palm oil plantations. Being forced to seek food and shelter outside of their normal areas puts them directly in the hunters path. The skin pattern represents her life and how it has been decided for her.

Looking into their eyes, I connect with their primal spirit and pure essence. There is no separation between animal and human. We all are souls inside these bodies - some with fur - living our lives, together, on this planet. Look closer, breathe them in. Can you hear them?
Photography is my way of connecting with and celebrating our earth's wonders. By calling attention to details usually overlooked, I encourage the viewer to open their mind to new possibilities. My style is guided by intuition and a thoughtful approach to natural light. Bringing awareness to these animals' endangerment is only part of the quest; putting an end to this crisis on all fronts is the ultimate goal.

We gained each other's trust in a rare lifetime experience. Meeting Malee moved me in unexpected ways at Panther Ridge Conservation Center in FL.

Conservation is life' - Kedar Dhepe. Since 1989 40% of giraffes have been wiped out by man. City growth agriculture poaching and legal hunting all contribute. Their catastrophic landscape is represented here both habitat and life disappearing as they silently fade out of the picture.

Not easy taking a picture of polar bears from a zodiac in not so calm waters. Instead of focusing on a close up - I decided to go with a much more prospective shot. Cliff, tundra, waterfall, polar bear, ocean. The polar bear up close is huge. Look how he is dwarfed in the scene.
