This mixed media painting is an expression of hope and joy with its vibrant colors and exuberant oceanic movement. Created during the first transformed months of the Covid pandemic I wanted to express optimism as Mother Sea with all its endangered animals would have fewer visitors and less damage.

When I dove Belize I saw for the first time what I had never seen before in 45 years of scuba diving‚ dolphins swimming in a school while underwater. In this mixed media painting I express my thrill of seeing them while they hide underneath the ocean waves in hopes of not becoming endangered.
