What if your mother was murdered and robbed of the gift of raising you? "Farewell" is a painting exposing the cruelty of the tiger pelting industry. The mother tiger was killed to be turned into a carpet. The spirit of the mother tiger is bidding farewell to the young cub she will no longer live to raise as her own. The cub will cry to be nurtured by the mother that has comforted him since the day he was brought into this world... It is a truly tragic story fueled by the greedy human desire for monetary wealth... I created this painting for the flame of hope that no more lives will perish for such selfish human pursuits... Positive change begins with awareness. Please consider sharing this painting with others.
