Since I was a child I have been intrigued by lions. I simply find them to be truly mysterious and magical animals. And I am not the only one who is captivated by these extraordinary animals. Their majestic charisma and personality has been well portrayed anywhere from movies to books, as well as being symbolized in logos. Lions are the true icons of royalty and power. With my new project "Portraits from a kingdom", I am aiming to go beyond traditional documentary photography to convey those magical qualities that intrigues me the most. This project is exclusively shot in Masai Mara, Kenya, The kingdom of lions.
