My passion for nature and photography is old but it was re-signified by the practice of birdwatching that I practice since 2012 and increasingly it has merged with the activities that I practice in the field of Life Sciences.

My job as a scientist seeks ways to care for human health and currently include the study of nature in health and promoting well-being resulting from various forms of contact with nature, including photography.

I work with natural light and seek the minimum interference in natural environments where I photograph. Also are minimal post-production adjustments.

I want through my lenses reveal the presence, behavior, but more than that, the encounter, the moments of mutual observation, the experience. I seek moments of deep connection and this is the main leitmotif of my work.

Photography for me is a way to tell stories, share beauty, take care of people and create awareness about the conservation of nature.
