Poaching and habitat destruction have created a stressful environment to grow up in. Yet, these beautiful animals have been taught that the most amazing moments are shared with each other. Witnessing his subjects in their own environment gives him tremendous motivation to create paintings that engage each and every one of our senses. His ultimate goal is to re-create the aura of a certain subject and the environments in which these experiences unfold. He works towards this goal by using dramatic subject matter, texture, bold colors, confrontation, and symbolism in his work."
