"This image was taken in the Omaha Zoo. It really stands out to me because it was taken right after some kids were pounding on the glass, trying to get the gorilla's attention. So the gorilla bared its teeth and displayed its power. It's an important reminder of the quiet strength they possess. I like to use photography to transfer my love of animals into something visual for people to see. Hopefully, by looking at my images, the viewer will be able to see what I see when I look at an animal. A soul, a living being, a beautiful creature worthy of respect."
