Returning from trekking with the gorillas of the Oruzogo family in Uganda in September 2016, enhanced my awareness of the plight these magnificent animals face.  This photograph of a young female gorilla illustrates the feeling of what’s next for my family.

I hope this photograph helps the viewer to understand the uncertainty these gorillas face with their habitat being encroached upon by farmers and the Charcoal Mafia.
