I have always felt a deep connection with wildlife.  Big or small, furred, feathered or scaled, when I look into their eyes I see a soul of another being not so very different than me.  My need to ensure the well-being of all wildlife, especially those who are endangered, goes beyond passion - it is my purpose.

I believe that the Arts play a special and integral role in turning the tide for endangered species.  The Arts, in their many forms, illuminate the world in new ways and powerfully contribute to changing values and society.   Through my art, I seek to change people’s hearts and minds so as to catalyze mass action to prevent mass extinction.

Too often when it comes to wildlife and their homes, humans look but don’t really see.  It is my hope that my art will help them to see.  I work in mixed media, using a variety of materials and techniques.  The creation of my pieces is largely driven by textures and colors so as to embody the singular beauty and spirit of the life depicted.
