My name is Ryan Suttle, and I am a San Francisco based artist.  One series I am working on is based on African poaching and trophy hunting.  These animals are incredibly beautiful in their natural state, yet are killed for a small fraction of their bodies.  I seek to explore how these animals are assigned value through material wealth, and how that assigned value destroys the beautiful animal that the product came from.
