I am a lover of animals, art. This Lion and Bird are friends....I like thinking about what animals of all kinds do when we are not there to observe them. I thought this pair would be symbiotic because this cookoo bird picks ticks off African creatures. The Lion probably could use his help. The background of this painting is full of human contraptions and symbols of "progress" which I believe are causing problems for animals everywhere.
