Good News! The Wood Stork which has been on the endangered species list and was expected to be extinct by the year 2000, was just upgraded from extinct to threatened. Bird Watching magazine used this picture to illustrate the point in a posting they made on their Facebook page yesterday. In celebration, the photographer, Sandy Scott decided to enter his photograph in the contest and did so this morning. Thank you, Sandy, a nice way to celebrate.
