SUBMISSION: Eye the Tiger by Ilene Reed

Eye the Tiger by Ilene Reed. All Rights Reserved. This curious Bengal tiger is enjoying a swim and is twisting its ears towards the source of its interest.  This tiger is cooling off on a hot summer evening by immersing himself completely, leaving only his head and back visible.

We need to keep our eyes on the endangered dwindling tiger population as we stand in danger of losing this majestic animal.  Its habitat continues to shrink due to expanding human populations and poaching increases.

It is imperative that the rich lush emerald green rain forests are saved as it supports the amazing diversity of life.  Without action, as we look forward another century, we will be without majestic tigers, intelligent orangutans, many other primates and thousands of other plants and animals.  Within my artwork, nature and art have always been inseparable for me especially for wildlife subjects at the edge of extinction.
