Exhibited and much admired at the ENDANGERED Art & Photography Exhibition. A chimpanzee sits in solitude contemplating the fate of his existence.
I want people to know about the plight of our closest relative in the animal kingdom, the chimpanzee, whose natural habitats we have encroached upon to the point their existence is threatened.
My work is intended to depict the level of struggle animals are enduring at the cost of human advancement or greed. Most important to me was to emphasis the innocence of these creatures and the hopelessness of their situation.
