"A pair of Florida Burrowing Owls find refuge in the spout of a school in Jupiter, Florida. My artwork has weaved through painting, photography and digital manipulation. In each photographic image, I look beyond the obvious to see what others may have overlooked and bring it to light. Spanning the spectrum between straightforward photographs and photo-based composited artwork, my images frequently include subtle symbolism. I am often drawn to shooting photographs of stairways, doorways or pathways, reflecting on what lies ahead.

The composited artwork draws viewers into fantasy worlds and alternative realities that are created in an intuitive, subconscious manner – to evoke viewers’ unexpected feelings and thoughts. Separate individual images are combined and presented in a unified vision.
