There are five species of rhino remaining in the world, and three are critically endangered. While habitat loss is a factor in their declines, poaching is the biggest reason we are losing these amazing species from our world. The largest populations of rhino are in South Africa, but experts believe they will be extinct in South Africa within 10 years. Though the numbers of poaching has decreased since 2015 there is still an average of one rhino killed every day all for the sake of their horn.
