The migratory monarch butterfly population has decreased by over 80% over the last three decades largely due to human use of herbicides. It's easy to think of ourselves and only ourselves. However the first step towards conservation is recognition. Recognizing that we are part of something much greater than ourselves. I paint what I love and I love above all else the world we live in and the creatures who inhabit it.
