This painting was inspired by 'Fiona' our local orphaned Jaguar at the Palm Beach Zoo during a plein air painting outing. The Jaguar is the 3rd largest cat in the world and has the strongest bite. These beautiful big cats are a threatened species due to habitat loss poaching and retaliatory killings.
