ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2021 Submission

There's something about the presence of an orangutan that immediately makes me feel calm and peaceful. This photo captures Woodland Park Zoo (Seattle, Washington) orangutan, Bela, happily gazing out towards visitors. The contrast of her colours against the foliage background truly makes the image stand out, as does her infectious smile.
