ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2021 Submission

I took this photo of a male orangutan at the Woodland Park Zoo (Seattle, Washington) in August. He was so majestic and care-free, capturing everyone's attention. Somehow, amongst all the other visitors watching, I must've interested him as he gazed directly at my camera, looking me in the eye. It was a special moment.
