ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2021 Submission

Creating original artwork has been a lifelong passion and a personal refuge.

Painting gives me the opportunity to express my enormous maternal love for animals. I am most joyful when near, or better yet touching, creatures of all kinds. I try to express this joy in my artwork so others may be touched.

I fully immerse myself in the process of developing each individual portrait. By keeping my eyes and heart really open, I am inspired to capture the spirit and beauty of each animal.
