ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2021 Submission

While volunteering at Ape Action Africa primate sanctuary, I got to hand-raise this African Palm Civet (Nandinia binotata). So young his eyes weren't even open yet, he fit in the palm of my hand. His mom had likely ended up in a stewpot. Seeming cat-like, they're related to mongooses. Rafiki and another civet were eventually released into a protected forest.
