ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2020 Submission

I explore the whimsical yet natural with watercolors, gouache and acrylic paints. I am inspired by children's picture book narrative style hoping to emote the innocence and vulnerability of the voiceless. Growing up in South Florida, the fragile ecosystem surrounding me has influenced my work immensely. It is fused with nostalgia and an ever present threat of disappearance.
