ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2020 Submission

This is a painting of a lion done with acrylic paint on canvas (2020). I actually took a photograph I captured of a lion at the Miami Zoo in 2019 and decided to paint it against a black background with vibrant colours instead of its natural tones. This provides a new sense of life and celebration.
