ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2020 Submission

"Ready! Fire! Aim!"

I can’t see in 2D. When I try to draw, I want to push the pencil INTO the paper. So it took me awhile to find my way into the arts. But ever since I made my first 3D clay head out of my kid’s playdoh, I’ve been obsessed with form. I sculpt in clay and then make molds. This way I can make multiple copies out of resin. I’m a member of The Windy City Snowmen, a snow sculpting team from Chicago. This has given me the opportunity to create a lot of commissioned pieces. We represented Illinois in the National Snowsculpting championship the past two years. This year I thought it would be a good year to get into street art fairs. So then all hell broke loose and 2020 happened and now here we are. Enjoy! Let’s all hope we can meet face to face next year.
