SUBMISSION: Tamboti stays vigilant by Mari Tada
ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2020 Submission
My love for the natural world began as a child in the great outdoors of Canada. A family history in Africa placed visions of big cats and vast open plains in my early imagination. After a career change that saw me move for a spell to South Africa, I pursued my passion for conservation and how sustainable wildlife tourism can help save endangered species. As a guest lecturer on responsible wildlife travel, I use my wildlife photography in presentations to convey the beauty of the natural world that must be conserved for future generations. I believe that conservation photography has the power to reach a global audience that would otherwise be unaware of the challenges faced by endangered species today.
