ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission

A very colorful snake with a translucent-blue eye. We are all aware of what's going on in the world and watch with despair. Entering this exhibit for the benefit of The Center for Great Apes; giving monthly to the World Wildlife Federation; contributing to local pet shelters; and donating art to animal sanctuaries around the country are things I do to help ease some of my heartbreak. Pick a cause or two or three and send $5. Every little bit helps.

Like my early submissions (please scroll to view), this was a challenging subject. I choose difficult pieces to test my skill and patience. In some instances, halfway through, I find myself asking, What was I thinking?
