'In 1981 environmentalists estimated there were only 254 mountain gorillas left in the world but the small population is rising slowly thanks to intense international conservation efforts. Still there are less than 900 in existence' - National Geographic 2018.

Serious about photography since 1969. Attended the Colorado Institute of Art in 1981-82. Focus on African wildlife which may not be in the wild in another generation.
