SUBMISSION: Family Bonding by Diana Licon
ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission
I work in many mediums including wood, paper, acrylic and oil. My subject is usually representational. I have a love of people and how life's events contribute to their molding and how all nature is in harmony with us. My heart's desire is to share this love with you. It is ultimately inspired by my love of God who enhances this appreciation and love.
In preparation, I graduated from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo with an Art Major and obtained a Standard Designated Teaching Credential in Art. I have had other extensive art studies, including recent studies in La Romita School of Art in Terni, Italy in 2018. I realized that entering competitions, displaying work, participating in the Art in the Communities programs, are all ways to get established. I have shown my work, for example, from 2015 to 2018 in over 50 art competitions.
