ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission

Three herons in flight. My work consist of animals together in a narratives setting. These animals find themselves in unfamiliar grounds or groupings. Offset by their displacement in their environment due to the carelessness of mankind insatiable need to expand. These pieces are on scratchboard paper which I ink several times. Allowing each time, the ink is applied for it to dry before I build up the next level. Once I have the desired affect, I start caring the surface with a sharp tool. This creates an original drawing with an etch like quality.
