ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2019 Submission

This work seeks to promote awareness regarding the detrimental effects of marine debris on aquatic creatures. Manatees are slow moving, lovable marine mammals that in addition to horrendous injuries from boat strikes and propellers, must also contend with entanglement with derelict fishing gear. Humans who enjoy their waterways can help by making sure not to leave fishing line, lures, etc. in the environment by disposing of it property.
