SUBMISSION: Parental Bond by Carolyn Hall
ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.
I went on my first African Safari last January 2017. An event planned since I was six and saw my first Tarzan movie. Being a mixed-race person living in Jamaica at the time, I felt a bond of looking white but knowing I belonged to my community. My brother and I both voiced our wish to be darker skinned to better fit in.
I digress. Here are submissions of my parent and child photos. I noticed a strong theme of mother and child groupings when I was in Tanzania at the beginning of migration season.
