ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.

In CAUGHT IN THE NET SERIES, the concept is to raise awareness of the destruction caused by fishing nets in all oceans, not just starfish, but all corals and marine life. I decided to use the starfish because I love the shape of it. It is a strong shape, a powerful shape, and in this context, one that stays in the minds of people for a long time.
