ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.

I am a watercolor artist who loves to paint the world around me. I often get inspiration from my travels and those of my daughter’s friend, who is a biologist, vet tech and film producer focused on health conservation. When she asked me recently if I would consider donating a painting for a charity event for her film on gibbons, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try my hand at a very different subject matter. This painting is based on one of her original photos taken in Borneo in May 2018.
