ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.

My hope is to convey a sense of spirituality through my use of light. I see birds as a link between the heavens and earth, and between the present and past...they are modern feathered dinosaurs. I photograph wading birds because many have characteristic features reminiscent of avian dinosaurs. Birds are the only dinosaur lineage to survive extinction 66 million years ago.
